Consultancy Service - We offer a comprehensive consultancy service, including purchasing advise for hardware/software, advise on networking, training services, security issues, Internet and all aspects of home/home office and small business computing.
Internet, Websites, Domain Names, Hosting and E-mail - We can create and maintain a website from scratch, obtain a suitable domain name for you and provide a hosting/e-mail package to suit your needs and expenditure. Alternatively we can work with your existing site performing basic maintenance or a redesign for a fresh new look. If you are looking for an Internet service provider, wish to change provider or upgrade to broadband we have extensive knowledge of many of the providers and can find the best package for you.
Supply of Hardware and Software - Linked with our consultancy service we can perform an in-depth study of your needs and requirements. Once completed we can supply and install the systems and software best suited to your needs and budget.
Repairs and Upgrades - We are happy to carry out repairs or upgrades to hardware and software. We also offer a PC Health Check service if you are concerned about any issues regarding your PC's performance or security. The health check comes with a list of recommendations to improve your computing experience and better protect you from threats.
Networking - Home and home office networking. Small business networking. Wired or wireless. Networking can seem a complex issue; however once we have established the needs of the users and environment we can provide a suitable network at an affordable price.
On Site Visits - Knowing and understanding how our customers work and operate is essential if we are to achieve our aim of providing the highest levels of service and satisfaction. Back Up Systems and Data Recovery - If the worst happens we are able, in many cases, to recover a good percentage of your lost data, however, it is always best to have duplicate back up copies of everything (we recommend at least two complete copies in two different locations). Smile Computers can provide simple and effective data back up systems plus practical help and advise on avoiding a complete loss of your vital digital information.
Telephone Help and On-line Assistance - For all Smile Computers customers there is a telephone help line available to assist in any problems you may encounter. We also offer a remote assistance service whereby we can use the Internet to connect directly to your computer allowing us to identify, and if possible, fix the problem on-line. Our on-line remote assistance is a quick and easy way to get you back up and running with the least amout of fuss.
Private and Group Tuition - We offer a tuition service including
course material for the E.C.D.L. (European Computer Driving Licence),
once completed the candidates can arrange to take the exams at
a registered centre, or we can make the arrangements for them.
We also offer a wide range of tuition for beginners and more experienced
computer users. If your business is about to introduce a new office
system we can design and implement a training program to get colleagues
comfortable and confident with the new ways of working.
